I bought one and installed it before I moved in so Im not even sure what my shower feels like without it for comparison. My only wish is that there was a clear "top" or "bottom" side because I dropped it and have no idea which way was the right way to install, so maybe my water is running thru the filter the opposite way, not sure and no way to tell but maybe it doesn't matter
